Craig W. Vandergrift, Sr. Obituary (1951 - 2020)

Craig Wilson Vandergrift, Sr. age 69 passed away on October 5, 2020. He is the beloved husband of Karen (nee Beck) for 44 years. He was the loving father of Craig Vandergrift, Jr., his wife Diane, Christine Vandergrift, Kelley Vandergrift, her husband Stephen Vanni, Sarah Vandergrift, her fiance Stewart Young. He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren Hailey, Rebekah, Aiden Swartz, Genesis Swartz and dear friends. Craig was a US Army Veteran, former volunteer Fire Fighter for various fire houses in Bucks County. He was an avid baseball player and pitched for the Reading Phillies. He enjoyed volunteering at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia for over 30 years, working as a Sunday School Teacher and in security. His favorite times were spent on Sunday devoting his life to his Lord and Savior, with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia 13500 Philmont Avenue Philadelphia. His service to celebrate his life will follow Thursday 11:00 am at Calvary. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
