Den May Obituary (1929 - 2013)

Den May was born April 27, 1929 passed away on December 22, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Jean Brown May. He is survived by his son Richard Den May (Alice Ailey), daughters Carol Ann Stull (George), Barbara Jean Sanchez (Phil), grandchildren Warren Richard May and Dr. Matthew James Stull. Den graduated from Olney High School and served his country in the US Army and the Army Reserves. He was employed for over fifty years at Parent Metal Products, where he began as a warehouse worker and retired as a Vice President. He was a life member of the Traffic & Transportation Club of Philadelphia, serving as President and receiving their Man of the Year award on two occasions. Den was a founding father of the Crispin Gardens Athletic Club, and was the last surviving founder of that organization. He served as Elder and Trustee of the First Presbyterian Church of Holmesburg. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects Saturday, December 28, 2013, 9:30 to 11:00 am at Lambie Funeral Home, 8000 Rowland Ave. (at Rhawn St.). His service will follow at 11:00 AM. Internment is private at the families request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Den's memory to a charity of your choice will be appreciated.
