Douglas Gerald Batista

Douglas Gerald Batista age 38 passed away suddenly on June 4, 2021. He was the beloved father of Sophia. Doug was the loving son of Patricia Batista, John Smith and the late James Black. He is also survived by his siblings Eric Batista, Brian Batista, Debbie Black, Jacqueline Smith, Shelley Smith and Daniel Black. He will also be sadly missed by his girlfriend Amanda Jacot, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Doug enjoyed sports watching and playing all sports. He was a proud Dallas Cowboys Fan, even though he lived in Philadelphia. He work as manager at Pets Plus and loved animals. He loved to dance and won many awards. He had a great sense of humor, though his favorite pastime was writing and drawing with his daughter Sophia. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19136. His service will be private at the family's request.
