Ellen Troebs

Ellen Troebs (nee Burton), age 85, passed away on March 14, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Charles for 62 years. Loving mother of Kim Roesner (Todd) and the late Jeffrey Troebs. Loving grandmother of Emily, Sarah and Tyler. Sister of Kenneth Burton (Marie), Marjorie Elliston (the late Alex), Richard Burton (Kay) and the late Divida Sable. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Ellen was a resident at Oak Crest Village in Parkville, MD, and was active in Oak Crest Community Church. Ellen was the former organist and a volunteer at Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family on Monday, March 19, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church: 7701 Loretto Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19111. Her service will follow at 11:00 am at the Church. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Rhawnhurst Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
There will be a memorial service held Saturday, March 24, 2018, 11:00 am at Oak Crest Village Retirement Community Chapel 8820 Walther Blvd. Parkville, MD 21234. Friends may greet the family before from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the chapel.
