John G. Cunningham, Jr. age 82 passed away on November 29, 2016. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Smith). Loving father of Laura Widger (Col. Andrew) and John G. Cunningham, III (Joanne). He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew Widger, Caitlyn Cunningham, Eric Widger, Lauren Cunningham, Connor Cunningham, his sister Barbara A. Wilson (William), nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends. Relatives, friends and members of Holmesburg United Methodist Church are invited to greet his family Monday, December 5, 2016, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (at Rhawn Street) Philadelphia. His memorial service will follow 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment and Military Honors will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Shriners Hospital 3551 N. Broad Street Philadelphia, PA 19140 would be appreciated.
