Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 21, 1954, Leslie spent his entire life in the city that he loved, and was a true embodiment of the city's spirit - full of life, loyal, resilient, and always ready to lend a supportive hand. Leslie brought laughter and joy wherever he went, his sense of humor was as infectious as his love for his family. He led a fulfilling career as a manager in the check-cashing business, but his real passion was always his family; his loving wife Theresa, his children Jeremy and Simone, son-in-law Joshua, and cherished granddaughter Vienna and grandson Ryan. He was also a devoted brother to his sister Marcia. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Leona Cohen. As the legendary poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." And Leslie, with his funny and supportive nature, made everyone feel loved and valued. In his leisure time, Leslie was an avid sports fan. From the Philadelphia Eagles to the 76ers, he loved cheering on his home teams. His loyalty was not just confined to sports teams, but was a trait he exhibited in every aspect of his life, from his dedication to his career to his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He was a rock, a beacon of love, loyalty, and laughter in the lives of those who knew him. Service and interment will be private at the family's request.
