Maria Bonita DeRentz

Maria Bonita DeRentz, (nee Monaco), age 74, passed away at home on April 13, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen DeRentz. She was the loving mother of Stephanie LaVerghetta, her husband Thomas and David DeRentz. She was the sister of Dominic Monaco and the late Tomasina Gregory. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Gina, Marissa, Thomas "B", Vincent LaVerghetta, Stephen, Maria, David DeRentz, great grandchildren Bella, Joseph, Stephen, many godchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Maria was a dedicated mother and grandmother who put her family first. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Monday, April 18, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at Resurrection of Our Lord R.C. Church 2000 Shelmire Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19152. Her Mass of Christian Burial will follow Monday, 11:00 am at the Church. Maria will be laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery with her husband Stephen.
