Mary L. Bauer

Mary Louise Bauer, a cherished and devoted woman, was called to her eternal rest on May 14, 2023. Born on April 21, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, Mary's life was deeply grounded in her Christian faith, which served as her guiding light. She was an unwavering pillar of strength within her church community, finding solace and inspiration through her relationship with the Lord.

Throughout her life, Mary selflessly dedicated herself to the care of others, embodying the essence of compassion. Her heart overflowed with empathy, consistently placing the needs of others before her own, both personally and professionally. Mary's love for her family knew no bounds, and her faith and devotion shone through every aspect of her being.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Mary's faith and commitment to her family were intertwined with her passion for adventure. Whether she was exploring new cultures through her travels or channeling her artistic skills into woodworking and basket weaving, Mary's vibrant spirit shone through. She was a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to all who had the privilege of knowing her, demonstrating the importance of embracing life's diverse opportunities.

Mary is survived by her sister, Carol Sandridge, her beloved granddaughter, Michelle Bauer, and her nephews William Haney, Thomas Haney, Kevin Sandridge, along with their families. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Bauer, and her son, David Bauer. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Mark A.M.E. Zion Church, located at 136 North Congress Street, Newtown, PA 18940. Following the viewing, a funeral service will commence at 11:00 am at the Church. Mary will be laid to rest in the serene grounds of Sunset Memorial Park, located in Feasterville, PA.
