Samuel J. Shiels, Jr. Obituary (1935 - 2017)

Samuel J., Shiels, Jr. age 81 passed away suddenly on April 27, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Nulph) for 60 years. Loving father of Jeffrey Shiels (Barbara) and Andrew Shiels (Roxanne). He was the loving Pappy of Lauren (Joe Farrell), Kyle, Meghan, Emily and the late Jessica. Brother of Jane Beswick and Marge Philipi (Walter). He will also be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, fishing friends and members of Mayfair Presbyterian Church. Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family Tuesday May 2, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday May 3, 2017, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Mayfair Presbyterian Church. His service will follow Wednesday 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Mayfair Presbyterian Church 3323 Tudor Street Philadelphia, PA 19136 would be appreciated.
