Theresa Remington

Theresa "Terry" Remington passed away at age 49 in her home on February 3, 2023. Terry was many things to many people. A devoted wife of Robert Robinson for close to19 years; a loving mom to her four children Johnathen Smith, Stephanie Johnson, Dennis Johnson, and her "baby" Sean Johnson. A G'mom to Isabella Luciano, Adalyn Smith, Caleb Young, and Jameson Power. A loving step-mom to James Robinson, Stephen Robinson, and Melissa Robinson. A beloved sister to Becky Ott, Angela Himenez, Daniel Himenez, and Joseph Himenez. A dear friend, especially to her best friend of over 40 years, Linda White. An adored aunt who will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Terry started her day with a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee, large, black with eight sugars "to sweeten her up." Everyone knew how she liked it and not to mess it up either. She enjoyed crafting. Any holiday you could come into her home and see her many handmade decorations. She never missed an opportunity to throw a party to show off her decorating skills. Most importantly to her, she loved having her family all together. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking something new she had seen. Probably making too much food, though she'd hate to admit it. She shared her love of baking with her granddaughters, Isabella and Adalyn and her niece, Melly. All of whom she taught that if you didn't bake it with love it would come out tasting like poop. When she wasn't at home with her family, she enjoyed "sneaking out" to the river, beach, casino, or shopping.

Terry battled cancer for over five years. All of which she fought fiercely. She pushed herself everyday and put on a brave face for her family. If she didn't tell you, you'd never even know. Her love for her family kept her going. Sadly now, her fight is over. Her memory will live on in her family and friends. She was a special woman who will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Her memorial service will follow Friday, 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the family's request.
