Edith D. Scampton Obituary (1934 - 2021)

Edith D. Scampton (nee Kurtz) age 87 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the Milton Scampton for over 65 years. She was the loving mother of Diana Robertson (Leonard), Richard Scampton and Steven Scampton (Susan). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Paul, Tracy, Charles, Robert, Jeffrey, great grandchildren Kevin, Erik, Julia, McKenzie, Bill, Riley, sister Marie Hamilton, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Edith was a devote Christian who was avid sewer, loved to camp, read, cook, later in life she enjoyed taking cruises with her husband, but most of all she loved to get together with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Tuesday December 14, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Calvary Memorial Church 7200 Roosevelt Blvd. Her memorial service will follow 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be private at the family's request.
