Mary Ellen Green

Mary Ellen Green (nee Meehan) age 86 passed away on June 13, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John Green. She was the loving mother of Carol Green, Kathleen Nimchuk (the late William), Sharon McGonigal (the late Duke) and her son the late John Green. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren William (Jennifer), Brian, Richard (Leonardo), Kelly, Thomas, Jennifer (Alex), great grandchildren Jared, Taylor, Ashley, Kylie. Mary Ellen was the sister of Sarah Fleming and the late Susan Gibson. Mary Ellen was the monarch of the family and the glue that kept everyone together. She was an avid Phillies Fan, loved to play Bingo, reading books played the daily number, but most of all loved her family. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Monday, June 21, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Lambie Funeral Home 8000 Rowland Avenue (At Rhawn Street). Her service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Mary Ellen will be laid to rest in East Cedar Hill Cemetery with her husband.
