Obituary for Joshua Feldman

Joshua William Feldman age 23, Philadelphia, PA died Saturday, November 18, 2017.

Since the beach was where Joshua found his peace in life’s chaos a celebration of life service will be held Sunday December 3, 2017 beginning @4:00pm on Delray Beach, Fl. Culminating in a sunset/full moonrise sky lantern and release with Rev Dan Sessa officiating.

Joshua Feldman was born May 23, 1994 in Philadelphia PA. He graduated as valedictorian of his class in 2013 at Philadelphia Youth Development Academy.

Joshua is survived by his son Mason Ray Feldman, Joshua’s parents, David J and Jessica L Feldman, Mason’s mother Emily Hernandez. Also survived by his brothers Nicholas David Pellecchia, David Jay DiPersio, Joseph Salvatore DiPersio . His sisters Kirin Melina Feldman and Katlynne Anne Feldman. Grandparents Barry Arnold Feldman, Ruth Y. Spaulding, Myron Spaulding, Deborah Rothar (proceeded in death by William Rothar). Masons grandfather Angel (Ed) Hernandez and Great grandmother Blanca Santiago. Niece Desiree DiPersio and Desiree’s mother Gina Fehr. And his childhood best friend Robert Smith. Joshua is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins. And many, many friends.

Josh loved sports ever since he was in diapers, Philadelphia E.A.G.L.E.S, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers were his home teams and as he grew up to love each sport he never passed up an opportunity to show his skills on the court or field, from Sunday football to evening meets at the basketball court, friendly competition had become second nature to Josh. He had a great sense of humor, making light in each of life’s situations. He was smart and excelled in math. He loved spending time with his loved ones, visits to different states and family gatherings. Joshua wanted others to feel loved and included, to know that their time on Earth was not for nothing even when he questioned his own purpose at times. Lastly, Josh loved his son Mason. He loved his son more than he loved himself. Joshua would say Mason was his greatest accomplishment.
