Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Scott Andrew Hussmann, born on April 20, 1978 in Philadelphia, PA, was a beacon of love, resilience, and humor, who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He carried a distinctive spark, a deep and thoughtful kindness that radiated outwards, influencing everyone around him. He had an infectious laugh that could light up a room and a unique sense of humor that could bring a smile to even the sternest of faces. Scott lived his life to the fullest.
Scott was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in watching old TV shows like Happy Days, Munsters, Brady Bunch, What's Happening, and Charles in Charge, which often transported him back to a different time and place. His love for pizza was legendary, and it was not uncommon to find him enjoying a slice, lost in the world of his favorite sitcoms. However, what mattered most to Scott was his family. He had an unbreakable bond with his parents and siblings, often declaring that his mom and dad were his world.
Scott is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Hussmann; his cherished sisters, Theresa Moran (J.R.) and Margaret Hughes (Daniel); his brother, John Hussman III (Kimberly Engle); his adored nieces, Clarissa Christ (George), Francine Gray (Kyle), and Kayla Hussman; his nephew, Joshua Moran, Uncle Joseph Hussman, and his great-nephew, Shain Druckenmiller and Chase Gray. He is preceded in death by his father, John Hussmann, Jr. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
Scott’s family will hold a private service at a later date. Thank you very much for your thoughts and prayers.
Scott's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, humor, and thoughtfulness. It is a life worth celebrating and remembering. We invite you to share your fond memories and photos of Scott on his memorial page, to keep his memory alive and to continue the celebration of his life.
