Terry Allen

Terry Renee Allen, born on August 25, 1967, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late George Robinson Sr. and Dorothy Brown Robinson. She was the youngest of five children born to this union. She lived a life of compassionate service, creative spirit, and courageous strength until an angel was called and she entered into eternal rest of the almighty at 12:45pm on Monday, May 20, 2024. Known affectionately as simply Terry, her enchanting smile, assertive spirit, intelligence, and sparkling wit were her trademarks, making everyone who encountered her feel seen, valued, and loved. Her heart knew no bounds, filled with endless compassion that she graciously offered to all around her.

Terry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was a spirited woman who turned the ordinary into extraordinary through her love for crochet, knitting, and cooking. Her culinary prowess was admired among family and friends, turning simple meals into extraordinary feasts. Terry also loved traveling, nature walks and was a devoted and caring friend to animals, particularly her bond with her beloved cat Pebbles. Professionally, Terry dedicated her career to the healthcare sector, serving as a Health Care Administrator. Her courage and dedication shone brightly in her role with awards of recognition, her unwavering commitment to helping others stood as a testament to her inherent goodness.

Terry was a beloved figure in her Philadelphia community, a beacon of love and kindness. She will be sorrowfully missed and there will aways be a void in the hearts of those who loved her. She is survived by her brothers, Steven and Anthony Robinson, sisters-in-law Maria and Anitha, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Terry was predeceased by her spouse, Joseph Allen; her parents, George and Dorothy Robinson; and her siblings, George Jr. and Linda Robinson.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family at Lambie Funeral Home, located at 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19136, on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. A Homegoing Service will follow at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home. Terry will be laid to rest in Magnolia Cemetery with her husband Joseph.
